Good job. I like the style and the interpretation of a jazz song. I would make the celesta licks way more interesting. You're playing a major blues-scale over and over again. Try to improve your licks by trying something new.

you've right, but I don't make Jazz Songs very often and I have to improve my playing skills.
Thanks for your Review.
Nice Job! Your brass sounds always so clean! How many brass are actually playing? Great composition too!
If you're referring to individual voices, there are 7, but this was interpreted with a lineup of 14 brass.
Thanks for the comment, I'm glad you liked it!
Sweet, I can't remember this to feature in one of the games though. Is this the menu of the N64 game, or from the upcoming Wii U? :)
It is for a fangame called SSB Crusade c:

These are some great recordings. Keep it up yo.
thanks bro i got new hot shit ish on the way to look out for me
I love the complexity of this one. The soundscape is really effective. I felt like it made the intensity of the voice-acting more real. Though I think the ambiance could use more variation.
The ending is way too loud. Don't get me wrong; the sound is really cool but too loud. 5/5
A 10! How gracious! Many thanks for the advice and review
wow, this is actually awesome!
You've got a nice voice. The mixing of the sounds is done smooth.
And by the way, nice accent you have there :D Love it.
You should find someone who can make an animation for this poem. I think it could work out well.
Ah, thank you very much! Means a lot coming from an artist i admire. I was thinking an animation would be cool for it too but i doubt i could find an animator would be up for it. I'm working on a larger project around this piece so look forward to that sometime soon!
5 stars! Well done ^^ And really nice mixing of the piano. I would love to know what you used as plugins.
Thanks!
This was made using East West sounds (don't quite remember which ones), the Kontakt library and Alicia's Keys for piano.
Nice song! I love to hear the sound of the bells. They sound so realistic. The ending was a bit abrupt :)
There are more than just bells :P ! What you heard is a mix of vibes, triangles, anvils and small bells.
I didn't intend to add a nice ending/transition because of limited time. I must re-master and fix the song later on.
Great song! The chordprogression is really dark, which is a good thing. The orchestration is really cool as well, you've got some skills ;) The vocals are technically good (it reminds me of 'a nightmare before christmas'), so overall its really really good.
You should improve your recordings though. Buy some better VST, and spent some money in a nice mic, and get some sweet audiointerface :)
Thanks for the review! I don't really have much experience mixing vocals at this point, so I'm a little disappointed that after all the work I did they *still* get washed out by the instrumental parts, but I didn't want to make the music itself too hard to hear, either. My mic is a pretty decent one, but I think it's how low and soft I needed to record these lyrics in order to get the effect I wanted that makes them so hard to hear at times. More's the pity.
It reminds you of "The Nightmare Before Christmas," you say? I could scarcely ask for a better compliment! You honor me with such a comparison. Many thanks. :)
